The United Way of New York City and ATAPE Group, LLC, in collaboration with the NYC Department of Education, will provide design and implementation sessions for Summer Rising school-CBO teams.

The sessions will provide the opportunity for teams, at any stage of the planning process, to collaborate, flesh out, and align morning and afternoon programming, to troubleshoot and receive guidance from session facilitators and other school teams. We will provide workshops and webinars to get Summer Rising off the ground as well as sessions to support the integration of culturally responsive strategies to align enrichment and academics and to support COVID related student social emotional needs. Schools and CBOs are invited to send a team to any of the sessions on a voluntary basis.
